J.,

Thanks. Racked up 109 miles today, my first full day of ownership. This bike has legs. Got up to 100-mph between Knoxville and the Dollywood exit. Solid as a rock. Wish the seat weren't so sloped toward the tank. May have to raise it a notch. It starts the commute to the gym and then onto Oak Ridge on Monday. The variable screen height is pretty awesome. It provided a lot of protection during a brief rain shower. Have to start thinking of farkles now. Just wish it had a helmet lock on the frame.
Take care over there. Great web site.

Congrats Pat! Let me know if you're ever in the Nashville area. We can trade road stories over some down home cookin'.

Jay,

I just bought a 06 ST1300 w/ 2600-mi. on it. Good price. 7-year extended axle-axle warranty and will pick it up this week. Have been riding most my life, but without a bike for the last 9-years. Couldn't pass this one up and the wife said; "Have fun"! I am a lucky man. My buddy, marty, and I are starting to plan a long bike trip to SF. I will meet him in Columbia, Mo. next year. He is in Cleveland.

Take care Jay!

Tucker - I'm not even close to a mid-life crisis...but it sure is good to hear from you!
Casey - my route is 2663 miles one-way (http://tinyurl.com/3dqf57). I rounded up a bit for any extra mileage.
