and the weather went crazy
Well, Nashville, I suppose, was due for some sort of natural disaster. We have had the good fortune to be clear of fires and oil spills but the rain, my god, the rain!
All is well in the Curtis house but the surrounding area has mass flooding. Many homes (mobile or otherwise) down the hill and throughout Nashville metro have sustained damage. As of this morning the stare is classifying several counties as disaster zones.
If you have the means, donate to the Red Cross. They’re gonna need all the assistance they can get once the rivers swell completely.
Let the frenzy begin
No, this isn’t about the impending iPad launch on April 3rd. I won’t be standing in line at the local Apple store or wandering Best Buy wondering if they’ve got more in the back. Instead, I’ll be putting ass to seat trying to get my next screenplay done.
Tomorrow begins the 4th annual Script Frenzy. The goal is 100 pages of an original screenplay within the month of April. Sure, there are prizes for finishing but it’s really about bragging rights. Oh, yah, an a sense of accomplishment.
Some good folks have arranged a Nashville chapter including ‘write ins’ and just all around support during the month.
I’ve got my story ready, do you? C’mon, I know you want to give it a shot…
