The Swell Season

Two things happened this weekend, non superbowl related, which created a little serendipity.

First, I saw Once and was so enamoured by the music of Glen Hansard that I did a little research and found some more music of his. The Swell Season is an album he did with Marketa Irglova who also stars in Once. I haven’t really stopped listening since I downloaded it.

The second thing was that I had rented a Panasonic AG-HVX200 for a shoot I’m doing on Monday. To get my bearings with the camera Sheila and I took a trip out to the Natchez Trace and drove around while I shot some footage. As a pro-sumer HD camera it captures some amazing details in a variety of lighting conditions.
