J., sorry about the typo...the ST1300 is running great. Oh, I waited till the end of the video and saw the credit for Allistair. Went to iTunes and couldnt find the track on the video where the people started to speak. Can I get the track name? Thanks for the introduction to a great vocalist.

You thinking old small displacement singles like a Honda 160 - 350 or maybe a 4 cylinder 750 size? Any particular make? I'd stick with a 4 stroke; the 2 strokes smoke too much and you'd probably be cussed at a lot. Besides they sound like a can being hit with a stick.

Well, I stepped back 25 years with the beemer. I think if I found an interesting buy, I might go for something a little more, uh, rustic. But, that might be in the order of a project bike first.

So you've experienced the art of driving and keeping an old VW running. What's the final word? Are modern cars better or is stepping back into the 20th century in your future?
