Free idea of the day

I’m a fairly substantial coffee drinker. Uh, that didn’t come out right. I’m not supporting 3rd world producers of coffee beans yet but I do drink a lot of coffee. Eventually I will be able to supply enough gallstone birdshot to Ted Nugent for an entire hunting season. That said, I’m always looking for ways (short of mainlining Gevalia) to get that precious nectar into my bloodstream quicker.
So, this morning I’m pouring the requisite packets of creamer (at least 2) and a tiny bit of sugar (no more than 1/2 a packet) when an idea strikes me –ready-made wafers of cream and sugar.
Someone at the Cremora factory should create compacted, wafer-thin soluble packets that can be dropped into a cup of coffee. They could be sold in different consistencies and strengths (double cream, double sugar) and even incorporate flavors. Really, it’s no more insane than those chocolate scoop snaks.
And there’s your free idea for the day.
(addendum: it occurs to me that you could use sugar as the binding agent for these wafers.)

Jim says what you are suggesting is a coffee Eucharist. This leads him to think that the Eucharist itself should be innovated. Can you say Mocharist?

Why do i always expect Bob Uecker when I hear that word. However, Jim might be right. Why not serve a nice chocolate and almond biscotti during communion? At that point, we might want to revamp the wine idea, too. Anyone in favor of espresso shots? This communion sponsored by Starbucks.
