Congratulations to Kevin & Karen…new proud parents of Rusty the dog.

I’m selling my stock ST1300 windshield/windscreen since I bought a CeeBailey a few months ago and it just sits around.

I posted it up on eBay yesterday with a BUY IT NOW of only $150. They are usually $300 from OEM part shops.

Only one small scuff in the lower right corner.

Pick it up if you’re in the need.

Last week, on somewhat of a whim, I let my mouse saunter over to Amazon and checked in on the price of a Oregon Scientific ATC2K Action Cam. It’s a really simple no-nonsense, rugged camera that records directly to an SD card. You can set the resolution, frame rate and image size using two very small buttons on either side of a one-touch record button.

I mounted it to the lowest spot on my front forks. It’s about 5 inches off the ground and perfectly secured with a velcro strap included as one of the many options for mounting the camera.

I’m still playing with it but I immediately have two comments…

1. Damn this thing is rugged! Waterproof/shockproof
2. Damn it takes a crummy picture! I’ve seen better images come from a one use video camera from CVS.

My wife, the kind-hearted soul she is, found a dog near our house that nobody seems to want to own.

He’s very cute with coarse, wiry hair and a good demeanor. We’ve been calling him Rusty, Tramp and Brillo but he’ll pretty much come to anyone who calls, no matter what they call.

We’d keep him but we’ve already got two dogs and a cat.
