Warm ocean currents give Taiwan a climate conducive to the growth of lush vegetation (sort of like jungle) and two or three rice harvest per year. With an average annual precipitation of 2,471 millimeters, (that's two and a half meters!!!) rainfall is abundant." Well at least it's a moist heat.
