Destination Wal-Mart
From the “Interesting Experiment” department:
While it may not be a hotel, Skyler Bartels found the local Super Wal-Mart to be quite comfy for 41 hours.
Bartels walked into the big box wearing jeans and a white T-shirt. He had his cell phone in case of emergency, his heart medicine, his bank card, two forms of identification, and nothing else.
He spent most of his time wandering, hanging out in the magazine aisle and learning to cat nap in the bathroom stalls.
He lived off energy drinks, doughnuts, yogurt and Subway sandwiches.
41 hours later, he made an exit from the store.
“I noticed the greeters pointing at me,” he said. “Somebody got on the intercom and announced a meeting of the department managers. One of the shift managers came up to me and asked, very politely, if I needed anything. I could have told him where everything was.”
His debit account was frozen. He was exhausted and paranoid. Game over. His med-student brother picked him up and took him away.

The fine folks over at Griffin Technology have moved into some new territory with a really amazing application called Proxi.
Right now it’s a closed beta, but you can ask for permission to join the testing and find out some info over here.
I don’t know if I’m supposed to talk about it yet…but it’s just too good not to.

Lost : What did they say?
So, last night on Lost there was a scene when Sawyer and Bernie were talking and Jin (who only speaks Korean) couldn’t understand. As an interesting trick the producers of Lost put their dialog in reverse…so, what did they say?
