A few days ago I was lucky enough to be told about the great travel website Horizons Unlimited. It’s not pretty but it has links to great information about anything that one might need to know for travel…*anywhere* in the world.

It’s a site for round the world (rtw) bikers. Folks who drop everything, sell the house and the kids (well, maybe one of the kids) and ride their motorcycle around the world.

My favorite section on the site is the Traveller’s Tales area. This is a plethora of links to all kinds of people, from all walks of life, who have just ditched it all and gone ‘ride-a-bout’.

The latest series I’ve been reading is from Jeremiah, a Colorado fella who is on his way from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina –then back again! In addition to being a great writer, his stories are short and are full of adventure. My latest favorite is Good Cop - Bad Cop

As you trip through some of those links on his and other sites, drop those travellers a line if the link exists. I can only imagine how cool/important/heart-warming/etc it would be to get a piece of email from a reader while out in the cuds.
