Well, that’ll be tomorrow. But I had to take it out tonight. I didnt’ get home until almost 7pm and, I gotta tell you, it’s hotter than the “hinges of hell” outside. 90% humidity!! woohoo!
so, tomorrow I have a plan that includes going to starbucks for a quick cup of coffee early in the morning. I’ll try to take some pictures while I’m out (not while drivng, of course).

The flat bars are so nice to ride with. I rode a 2k3 Spirit 750 when they started making that model and it was nice.

So, the bike I went and looked at last week has found its way into my heart, as well as being the right price for the dollars available. I made a call to the fella selling it yesterday, when he finally called me back (all day later) I made him an offer.
It was a respectable offer, a little less than he was asking but well within the bounds of what his bike is worth. He said he’d have to call me back in about 10 minutes. That was around 3:30pm yesterday… he still hasn’t called.
I made another call to him last night (left message) but haven’t heard a thing back. Should I take this as a sign that he’s not interested? He’s had the bike for sale for more than a week, and one can assume with no significant offers.
If he doesn’t ring me by 3pm today, I’m giving up on that bike.
In the meantime, I’m still looking around. I’ll get my butt cleaned up and start hitting the cycle shops in about an hour.
Also, while my dad was in town last week he got the bug for doing some riding and decided on buying a bike. It’s the first bike he’s had in more than 20 years.
